“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31 is a promise made to people who are tired — not to the strong, but to the ones who have run out. The strength is renewed, not summoned.
The design
Printed in two places. Front: renew in a warm retro serif across the chest, with the reference set small underneath. Back: a full eagle in flight, wings spread across banked clouds and a rising sun, with the verse arched above it in a hand-set script.
The shirt
Printed on the Comfort Colors 1717 — 6.1 oz ring-spun cotton, garment dyed, with the soft broken-in hand that comes from dyeing the finished garment rather than the fabric. Relaxed unisex fit that wears well from the first day.
- 100% ring-spun cotton, 6.1 oz garment-dyed
- Printed front and back
- Relaxed unisex fit — size down for a closer cut
- Six sizes, XS through 2XL
- Five colours: White, Ivory, Blue Jean, Moss and Terracotta
- Printed in Miami, one at a time
Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, tumble dry low. Garment-dyed cotton softens with every wash, and slight colour variation between shirts is part of the process rather than a fault.
